Mikail’s Story

The brief:

Every year, Vision Australia holds their largest fundraising event - Carols by Candlelight. This year’s theme is all about shining ‘brighter together’, and focusing on Vision Australia client, Mikail, we wanted to demonstrate how Vision Australia helps support not only Mikail, but his whole family. After being diagnosed at birth, Vision Australia was there to provide guidance, advice and counselling for the family during this tough time - and continue to do so to this day.

The outcome:

The outcome was a heartfelt, genuine and emotional video - a highlight on the impact on Vision Australia on Mikail’s entire family. From tennis, his love for geography and listening to music - Mikail’s life might look slightly different but he’s still your typical teenger - and Vision Australia help support him to still live this lifestyle.

For this campaign, we produced a hero video with 30” and 15” cutdowns. Additionally, we produced a set of stills to be used across Vision Australia’s socials and website.
