MND Victoria

Amy’s Story

The brief:

Amy is a wonderful, vibrant, young mother of two little girls, Hannah and Georgia. In August 2022, her world was turned upside down when she was diagnosed with motor neurone disease (MND) at just 27 years old. For MND’s 2023 Tax Appeal, we wanted to highlight Amy’s unique story and how the invaluable support from MND Victoria helped both Amy and her family adjust into this new and scary reality.

The outcome:

We travelled to meet Amy and her family in regional Victoria, interviewing and documenting Amy, Simon and their two children and their life since diagnosis. This film was all about encapsulating the impacts of MND on their life, and how MND Victoria offered them care and support where a cure isn’t available.

For this campaign, we created a hero film and captioned version for MND Victoria to use across their 2023 Tax Appeal.
